Honku: The honkers of today

There are these drivers who honk a lot

If the road is empty, they will honk
And speed along on their way

If the road is full, of vehicles more
They will honk all the more
To find their way thro' a jammed road.

These are people with less of mental peace
If not at times forever
Then certainly at these few times.

They do all honking to find way
Not caring at all
For walkers on their way

They overtake from the left
Where there is a right-hand drive
And rushing and speeding is the way they drive

Their action is only of honking
That can be of a thoughtful second by someone
Or can be lot more, seconds twelve or twenty-one

Then there are those who honk,
When they see two bystanders talk
On a footpath by the side

And to disturb the two, they do so,
As the two converse a topic
So that their voices, each other do not hear.

These are people with not a good mindset
And they persevere in their action
Of honking much or slightly less.

They drive the cars and bikes
Buses and trucks are their likes
On roads of cement or tar.

Call them the honkers of today
Or simply the word honku
That I hope with them, may stay.

This is so cause, if I see a honku near
Or slightly behind or ahead
I can shout from the front or rear.

Aye, honku, what are you upto?
Aye honku, hot-headed, are you?
Aye honku, get some ice, will you?

Oye honku, gone nuts or what?
Oye honku, what happened man?
Oye honku, you hot or you cold?
